We transfer movies to either DVD's or to VHS tapes. We shoot your movies with professional grade Sony 3-chip digital cameras. This brings across greater detail and richer colors than is possible using the older transfer equipment normally found in our industry. The DVD transfer uses digital equipment all the way for stunning clarity and long life. When transferring to DVD, we also give you the MiniDV master tape with the order at no additional charge. VHS transfers look beautiful, too, and are the more economical way to get the job done.
Most 8mm and Super 8mm home movies transfer across to video and look as good as, if not better than, the original. You have to have more than a $50 plastic "smoke and mirrors" box to get good results. It saddens us when we see throbbing, badly framed, out-of-focus transfers that people try to do at home.
When your movies have been transferred to video, you can add music, titles, and narration. You may also elect to edit out bad footage at a self-service edit station and send low-cost copies of your finished video to all the members of your family as gifts. |
